What is Canadian cuisine anyway? Although we share a lot of dishes with the USA, Britain, and France, we have our own culinary traditions as well. (Did you know ginger beef is Canadian? Created in my own home city of Calgary Alberta! And yes, I’m working on a vegan version.) This cuisine category is also a placeholder for the dishes that I’ve created that I can’t really trace back to a single cultural inspiration.
NOTE: Some of the older recipes on this site contain animal products as they were published before I started a plant-only diet. But all new recipes are 100% vegan friendly!
