Off to Toronto this weekend to celebrate our anniversary! Other than that, here are some fast easy meal ideas for finals season. Good luck on exams, everyone!
So happy! I managed to stick to roughly 1500 cal every day for this diary, all the while eating yummy food. Hope you had as productive of a week as I did!
Discovered an amazing way to use drumsticks and thighs: Filipino chicken adobo! I’m super happy with my food diary this week. Lots of varied and healthy eating, and all within my calorie budget too.
From gelato by the Rialto Bridge to a tiny Michelin-starred restaurant blocks away from St Mark’s Square, we had our fill of delicious food in Venice.
Emilia-Romagna is not only home to the Motor Valley of Italy but also to culinary bastions like Bologna and Modena. Although we missed out on lasagna alla bolognese, we managed to have tons of amazing food and no shortage of gelato!
The cosmopolitan nature of Milan is reflected through its varied food. We ate everything from modern Italian dishes at a Michelin-starred restaurant to Brazilian-Japanese fusion sushi.
Short post this week as we’re heading off to Italy on Friday. I’ve been preoccupied with finishing up my exams recently, and have had no motivation to cook.
It’s the midpoint of exams! I’ve stopped buying groceries, since we’re going on vacation in two weeks, so these meals are a bit “clean-out-the-fridge” esque.
Since the past two weeks haven’t been too healthy, I’m getting back on track now with more whole foods and veg. The start of exam season won’t stop me from making yummy food.
It’s tacos tacos tacos this week, and not just on Tuesdays. Anyway, I’ve been cooking and baking a lot in general as I procrastinate on studying for exams.
